Sophia Choi is an American costume designer for the stage and screen. Selected design credits include Urinetown (New York City Center Encores!), KPOP (Tony Award-nominated for Best Costume Design in a musical), Cult of Love (Broadway and Berkeley Repertory Theatre), Primary Trust (La Jolla Playhouse), White Rose (Off-Broadway), An Enemy Of The People (Yale Repertory Theatre), Notes On My Mother’s Decline (Off-Broadway), Intelligence (Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Next Door NYTW), Anna May Wong: The Actress Who Died A Thousand Deaths (Mabou Mines), and Stick Fly (The Juilliard School). Born in New York and raised in Virginia, Sophia received her MFA in Design from the Yale School of Drama and her BFA in Theatre Design & Technology from VCU School of the Arts. She is currently based in Brooklyn.
